360° Endo-Deherniation/Decompression Management
During these 2 days the participants shall learn how to plan and conduct the correct endoscopic access to the spine and treat lumbar disc herniations as well as accomplish basic bone decompression. The idea of endoscopic pain therapy and stabilization options are demonstrated optionally.
TESSYS® enables surgeons to perform the Transforaminal endoscopic access to the spinal canal for the treatment of lumbar disc herniations and beginning foraminal stenosis.
With the TESSYS® approach the surgeon resects the herniated disc through the foramen intervertebrale, which means that a natural foramen to the spinal canal is used. Using specialized reamers and instruments the foramen can be widened step by step. Sequestered disc material is removed completely under endoscopic view.
iLESSYS® Pro is the technique for the Interlaminar endoscopic access for disc herniation especially at L5/S1. It is a great option for ipsi- and contralateral intraspinal bony decompression and deherniation. This set offers excellent properties.
Surgeons from various disciplines, without experience in endoscopic spinal therapy/spinal surgery and interest in learning the latest techniques of minimally invasive endoscopic spinal surgery – focus is the lumbar spine.

International workshops are held in English. For specific groups courses can be held in the participants mother tongue
Course Fee (valid from January 2019)
The fee includes workshop materials, refreshments and the evening event.
2-day workshop: € 1.450 / $ 1.590 per participant (incl. applicable VAT)
Only for courses in the U.S.:
2-day workshop and personal X-ray protection package: $ 2.990 per participant (including applicable taxes)
The course fee includes course materials, joimax® scrubs and the personal X-ray-protection package consisting of a custom joimax® gown (monogrammed optional), thyroid shield, X-ray glasses. Ordering details as sizing and monogramming will be taken care of at the workshop.
Advance payment must be made in full prior to the course date. An invoice will be sent upon receipt of the registration form.

General Terms and Conditions for Workshops
Registrations for the ESPINEA® workshops need to be in writing. The decision on a potential participation is done on order of receipt. No claim can be asserted by the applicant.
Order Confirmation and Payment
The registration will be confirmed by separate mail and/or with the written invoice at the latest and represents a mutually binding obligation. The invoice is to be paid 2 weeks after receipt at the latest.
Cancellation of Workshops
No cancellation fee applies if cancelled at least one month before the workshop. If cancelling within 2-4 weeks prior to the course, a 50 % fee is charged. If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior to the workshop, the full workshop registration fee is charged. Please note that cancellations must be submitted in writing.
All workshops contain theoretical lectures and intense practical training. Access planning and training of surgical techniques as well as handling the instruments and endoscopic orientation are trained on anatomical specimen, supported by preparative training on sawbones and simulators.
The workstations are equipped with C-arms, joimax® endoscopy towers and surgical instrumentation. X-ray protection is provided. There are 2 up to 5 workstations per course with 4-5 participants per station.
